Two stories

On the first day of my English 1102 class, we were assign to read two short stories. A clean, well-Lighted Place by Ernest Hemingway and Good country people by Flannery O'Connor were the two stories that we were assign to read. Even though i read both of the stories, i didn't really come up what the author was talking about. This is one reason i really hate English.
